How to create or edit a project workflow?

To edit an existing project workflow:

  1. Log into CloseOut.
  2. In the Administration tab, select Templates.
  3. In the drop-down menu select Project Workflows.
  4. Click the project workflow that you want to edit or create.

If you want to create project workflow, you can do so by using the Import from another project or template or by creating an entirely new workflow.

Creating a new project workflow step by step

  1. On the right panel, click the + (Add node) button and select Folder.
  2. Enter the number of folders that you want to create and the name of the folder.

Note:

If you select more than one folder, the system automatically creates names for the other folders by adding the number (Folder-1, Folder-2, Folder-3...). You can edit the folder name later.

3. Click the + (Add node) button on the folder level, and select Photo placeholder.
4. Enter the photo placeholder details, and click Save.

You have now successfully created a workflow.

Creating a project workflow using Import from another project or template

  1. In the right pane, click Import and choose between Workflow Template and Project Workflows.
  2. Select the Template or workflow of the project from the list you want to use on the new project.
  3. Click Import.

Edit the existing project workflow

If you want to edit an existing workflow on your project or edit a workflow that you imported from another project or template, you can do so as follows:

  1. In the right pane, hover over the item you want to edit and click the Edit button.
  2. If you want, you can delete certain positions by clicking the Delete icon.
    Delete

    Warning

Only an admin will have the possibility to delete the placeholder that has files uploaded from some site on a project, considering this will result in loss of the data.

  3. You can also rearrange the positions of the elements during project work by using the cut-and-paste option or by dragging specific positions within the same folder.
  4. Import parts of the workflow from other projects or templates by clicking the Import icon
  5. Make your changes and click Save.

Info:

The same procedure applies to the editing of workflow templates. To edit workflow templates, you need to select Workflow Templates in the drop-down menu (procedure step #3).
